Usage:  poise [status]

Catfolk traditionally are extremely agile creatures, so much so that they can plummet immense distances and usually land on all fours with nary a scratch. Through centuries of racial adaptation, the catfolk of Astaria have honed this ability to perfection for use in combat. If properly poised, a catfolk can completely rebound whenever he or she would suffer from a stunning or immobilizing effect.

To poise yourself, use: poise. To check if you are currently poised, use: poise status.

This is a handy ability. I most commonly use it for not losing rounds when I eat or perform another action that would otherwise stun me for a few rounds. It is also extremely useful against both mobs that stun you and in defense against PK attempts, as generally the attacker will first attempt to immobilize the target. Poise lets you ignore the stun effect (though obviously an ep-drain such as fatigue will not be avoided).
