Knowledge means power, and scholars grasp this early,
pursuing intellect above all else. They consume
knowledge voraciously, from any source, anywhere
available -- a drive that draws mentors eager to
nurture such promise.

Physical activity fades as research consumes more
time; scholars accept the trade, since learning
outweighs all else. Many develop a particular
fascination with the occult, black magic, and the
