Trial Arcanus is a game that allows players to hunt each other and provides a similar experience to tag or player-killing. Participants purchase a wand at the Trial Arcanus Shop. The wand displays a list of all current hunters, then hunters use the 'kazap' command to kill their opponents before being killed. Players may use guild abilities to maneuver the realm and vie for positioning or avoid their opponents. Late in Astaria's first incarnation and early in Astaria's second incarnation matches would sometimes include 10 or more participants.
