Syntax: tincture <brew>

Druids are well-known as masters of not only healing, but the finer points of herblore. It is quite common to see a skilled druid mix the two in a restorative tonic known as a tincture. Using an alcoholic beverage as a base, a druid may create a drink infused with one of many herbal remedies which have substantial health benefits.

Due to an ongoing deal with the bard guild, druids are able to create tinctures from any drink brewed by a bard.

Commentary

More research needs to be conducted on tinctures. A lv6 druid's tincture recently healed as much as 40+HP/SP/EP.

  • This was not closely documented.
  • It is uncertain whether the strength of the alcohol had any effect.
  • It is unclear how tinctures compare with apples and apple pies, or other druid food, as these may have changed since the last update. See Seeds for a rough seed-type food comparison.

One benefit of a tincture is the alcoholic content of the mead/ale/wine keeps the tincture from becoming stale or rotting. Another possible benefit is that it affects sobriety rather than hunger.

Tinctures may be created immediately after each other without delay.
