Helpfile

Guild Level: 18
SP Cost: 75 sp/ep
Skill: Multiple-attack
Syntax: berserk <target>

Skillfully combining and empowering your fighting skills with the rage and fury concealed in your body, you can enter a berserk state, where you multiply your attacks against your foe in a mighty display of courage. The number of attacks you perform depends on your multiple-attack skill and guild level.

Please note that this maneuver is taxing and exhaustive, taking away both skill points and endurance.

Commentary

Contrary to the apparent typo in the feat's description, berserk is targetable.

Along with the frenzy feat of the fighter, drinking a flask of berserker mead removes the "cooldown timer" of both frenzy and berserk, allowing each to be re-cast if you have the sp and ep to do so.

When a fighter berserks, they will break free from any constraints that were previously preventing them from moving or attacking. For example if a mage cast their fetter spell on a fighter to attempt to keep them in one location, a fighter could simply berserk to break free and laugh in the face of the mage and freely walk away.
